Meet your adviser, Chris Mills

Your financial wellbeing is my passion. In the 20 years I have spent in financial services I have had the pleasure of educating and supporting my clients from simple transactions to complex financial strategies.

I launched Voyage Financial Planning so that I could have full control of my workplace ensuring that my own values, ethics and morals are embedded in the very fibre of the business.

Being a Chartered Independent Financial Planner has enabled me to offer a truly bespoke experience to my clients where building and maintaining a strong relationship is key. Recalling the individuals that I have supported over the years fills me with pride and galvanises me to continue to support others.

In my personal life I am married to my wife Amy since 2013 and we have 5 wonderful children together. When I’m not running “Dads Shuttle Bus” you’ll find me enjoying spending time with the family or attending a sporting event.

The support of my family has helped to grow into the advisor I am today. One who is truly grateful to support all those who pick up the phone to me.

I’ve been working as a Financial Services Administrator for the past 4 years and in this role, I have supported numerous advisers provide services to countless clients. I’ve been working with Chris Mills specifically in a variety of different roles since 2016.

I am one who always looks to improve myself and by this I have completed CeMAP and DipFA which has given me a much deeper understanding of my industry and greater insight into the products and services that I help provide. Having these qualifications evidences my commitment to financial services and the pride I have for what I do.

The variety of tasks that my job provides through the different aspects of financial planning is something I enjoy immensely. I could be liaising with clients and lenders in one moment and writing reports for pensions and investments in the next.

In my spare time I enjoy watching motorsport such as Formula 1 and spending time with my family & cats!

FS Administrator, Jessica Putt

With over five years of experience in Financial Services Administration, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of various financial sectors, from personal pensions to personal tax returns. Since joining the team in August 2024, I have significantly expanded my knowledge and expertise, tackling a wide range of financial planning tasks.

My role offers great variety, allowing me to deliver high-level customer service while managing diverse financial tasks. I find immense satisfaction in the dynamic nature of my job, as it provides me with the flexibility to handle different challenges each day, rather than following a repetitive routine.

Outside of work, I am a proud mother of two and enjoy spending quality time with my family. I love traveling and creating lasting memories with my loved ones, making the most of my time away from the office.

FS Administrator, Samantha Soundy

With over 10 years of experience in administration, I have supported various companies, directors, and departments, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. I joined the team in September 2024 as a Firm Administrator, where I assist with mortgage applications and insurance policies. I enjoy the diverse responsibilities, including liaising with lenders, solicitors, and communicating with clients.

Since joining, I have expanded my knowledge of the financial industry, supporting clients through every stage of their mortgage or life/protection policy applications. It’s a privilege to be part of our clients' journeys. I am always eager to assist and keep clients informed about the progress of their applications.

In my free time, I enjoy making memories with my family, watching my partner play rugby, and going for walks.

With over 20 years of experience in administration and customer service across multiple sectors, I have built a strong career supporting operations, leadership and clients with professionalism and efficiency. I take pride in helping people and always put customer service as a top priority, ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way.


I joined the Voyage team in December 2024 as a Firm Administrator, where I have expanded my knowledge of the financial sector assisting with mortgage and insurance applications and the financial planning side of the business. I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of both aspects, finding fulfilment in supporting clients and ensuring smooth operations. I am passionate about continuing to learn and grow and contribute to the success of the voyage team and our clients.



Outside of work, I enjoy making special memories with my family watching my two teenage boys playing football and travelling to different destinations. I also love to dance and enjoy unwinding with a good book!

FS Administrator, Angela Burnett

Having over 35 years of experience in administration, I have built a diverse knowledge of skills spanning roles such as office manager, business development manager and personal assistant to directors. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing great customer service and attention to detail.

I started work with Voyage in August 2025 on the Financial Planning side of the business. To be a part of the client’s retirement planning journey and provide the administrative support in providing the best retirement and investments options for them.

I have always believed it's important to keep learning at any age. I've recently completed a digital marketing and event planning course which has further broadened my skill set. I'm looking forward to continuing my journey with Voyage and assisting in making a positive impact for our clients.

Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with family and friends and creating special memories with my grandchildren. I love to dance, listen to music and go for walks, as long as there is a coffee stop, or two.
